A North Huntingdon woman accused last month of beating her disabled sister with the woman's prosthetic leg was charged last week with threatening two neighbors who had accused her of theft.

Donna Sturkie-Anthony, 41, of Lincoln Mobile Home Park, was charged Feb. 4 with threatening Rick Smith and his daughter, Amanda Smith, who had accused her of stealing their cordless phone Dec. 27.

According to an affidavit, Ms. Sturkie-Anthony banged on Mr. Smith's door late that night and asked him to help her with her electric hookup.

She then walked inside the trailer, grabbed the phone from Amanda Smith as she talked on it and returned to her own trailer, where she locked the door and refused to return the phone.

Police charged her with theft and trespassing.

Two weeks later, on Jan. 16, North Huntingdon officers had to deal with Ms. Sturkie-Anthony again when she called police asking that they remove her sister, Sherrie Gibson, from her trailer.

Police went inside, saw blood on the floor and found Ms. Gibson lying on a couch. She said her sister had beaten her with her prosthetic leg.

At that point, according to an affidavit, "the actor spontaneously stated that she beat the victim's (expletive) with her leg."

Ms. Sturkie-Anthony went to jail but posted bond Jan. 21.

Her bond was revoked after her latest arrest and she went back to jail.

She has a hearing Wednesday before District Judge Douglas Weimer in North Huntingdon.
