The Penguins recalled forward Tyler Kennedy Thursday from their AHL farm club in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
Kennedy had missed eight games with the Penguins between Jan. 19 and Feb. 7 after he was diagnosed with mononucleosis. In three games with the Baby Penguins, Kennedy has scored two goals. He is tied for the lead among NHL rookies with four game-winning goals.
This is his third call-up this season. He made his NHL debut on Oct. 27 vs. the Montreal Canadiens and scored his first goal on Nov. 3 against the New York Islanders.
In 31 games with the Penguins, he has 8 goals, 4 assists and 12 points.
