A trio of Penn State football players have been invited to participate in the NFL Scouting Combine Feb. 20-26 at the RCA Dome in Indianapolis.
The include quarterback Anthony Morelli from Penn Hills High School, Justin King from Gateway, and two-time All-American linebacker Dan Connor.
Connor won the Bednarik Award this past season as the nation's top defensive player.
The NFL draft is April 26-27.
In other news, starting safety Anthony Scirrotto plans to enter a plea agreement Thursday, according to his lawyer, Ron McGlaughlin. Scirrotto is hoping to avoid going to trial on a felony trespass charge and a count of summary harassment resulting from an off-campus fight in April and enter an Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program.
