West Virginia completed its new football coaching staff with the announcement today that the Mountaineers hired alumnus Mike Joseph as its strength and conditioning coach.
Joseph, a former Fairmont State player, served as a graduate assistant while attending classes with the Mountaineers from 1999-2001 before becoming assistant strength coach at Eastern Michigan from 2001-03 and spending the past five years in the same capacity at Notre Dame.
Joseph represents the fifth graduate of the school among the eight new hires surrounding the West Virginia football program.
