Friday, January 25, 2008

A vehicle driven by a Clarion County woman was repeatedly rammed in Redbank early this morning by an SUV.

Mary Little, 54, of Mayport was driving north along Dairy Road shortly after midnight when a gray sport utility vehicle drove up behind her vehicle and rear-ended it two times, according to state police. The SUV, driven by an unidentified man, then pulled alongside Ms. Little's vehicle and slammed into the driver's side, shattering the window. The SUV then fell back behind Ms. Little's van. She pulled over near a home and turned off the ignition. The SUV rammed her van again from the rear, the drove up the road a little ways to the driveway of another house. Ms. Little attempted to get out of her van, but couldn't get out of the driver's side because of the damage to the door. Meanwhile, the SUV turned around and headed back toward her vehicle. She was able to get out of the passenger side and headed to the home to call 911. The SUV returned and slammed into the front of her vehicle before turning around and heading north on Dairy Road.

Ms. Little was not injured.

State police are looking for the gray SUV and asked that anyone with information call 814-226-1710.
