The Good, the Bad and the Beautiful
Ledger's former fiancee back in New York
Friday, January 25, 2008
Michelle Williams, former fiancee of the late Heath Ledger and mother of his 2-year-old daughter, Matilda, is now back in her NYC home.

The grieving actress flew in from Sweden, where she was shooting a movie. Providing comfort are her mother, Carla, and actress Busy Phillipps, who co-starred with Michelle in "Dawson's Creek" and is godmother to her daughter.

Speaking of godparents, Jake Gyllenhall, who is Matilda's godfather, is making a film in New Mexico and definitely does not want to deal with the press during this time, and so that movie set has been closed.

It would be nice if the paparazzi left Michelle and her family alone during this sorrowful time, but we know that's not going to happen.

Right now, it's all Heath all the time.

While authorities haven't been able to determine the cause of death yet, the latest reports are that the actor had in his home at least five prescription drugs, including the anti-anxiety medications Alprazolam (Xanax), Diazepam (Valium) and Lorazepam (Ativan), the sleeping medication Zopiclone (Lunesta) and the sedative Temazepam (Restoril), reports TMZ.

Meanwhile, will somebody tell us what Jack Nicholson is talking about?

You know Heath is playing a very dark version of Jack's classic Joker in the upcoming Batman sequel, "The Dark Knight."

When told about Heath's death while in London, Jack reportedly said "I told him so."

Told him so about what?

Will somebody tell us what in the world Lil Wayne was thinking?

Well, obviously he wasn't thinking.

The rapper was arrested Tuesday after cops pulled over his tour bus, and drug-sniffing dogs found 105 grams of marijuana, almost 29 grams of cocaine and 41 grams of Ecstasy, $22,000 in cash and some guns.

Lil Weezy's bond was set at $10,185.

The story behind Eddie Murphy's and Tracey Edmonds' un-wedding is slowly dribbling out.

One report stated that the two families did not get along at all during their time in Bora Bora.

Now comes word that Eddie flipped the script from nice guy Nutty Professor to evil Rasputia.

Page Six is reporting that Tracey had signed a pre-nup and was even willing to change her name to Murphy.

Howevah, Eddie wanted to bring his momma along for the honeymoon and, worse than that, he grabbed Tracey during a heated argument. That was enough to scare girlfriend right out the door.

Of course, neither member of the former couple wanted to talk about this latest story.

They should have asked us.

Delta Airlines was all set to fly the cast of "The Mysteries of Pittsburgh" to Sundance on their private charter service and was even going to throw a shindig for Sienna Miller (a Pittsburgh favorite), Nick Nolte, Mena Suvari and Peter Saarsgard.

But, according to Page Six, only Mena showed up for the party, and she split out the back door after grabbing a gift bag. The other stars canceled their Sundance trips.

Britney Spears and her daily meltdowns are getting tired.

But, in the interest of fairness, when it comes to celebritology, we'll let you know that her bodyguard and her right-hand man, Sam Lufti, gave depositions yesterday in the ongoing circus, uh, we mean child custody battle, with ex-hubby Kevin Federline.

On Wednesday, Brit actually showed up and went into the courthouse for a hearing but didn't make it into the courtroom.

Charlie Sheen's ex, Denise Richards, has gotten a judge's OK to do a reality show in which her two baby girls, Sam, 3 and Lola, 2, would appear.

Charlie was more than heated about this and asked the judge to put a stop to it. But he didn't. He agreed to let the tots appear with some restrictions. What those restrictions are nobody's saying.

Ooooh, you know we're gonna be in front of the TV for this one.

Our girl Tina Turner, whom we had the privilege to see perform on her retirement tour, is slipping on her heels and tuning up her gorgeous gams to perform with junior diva Beyonce at the Grammys Feb. 10.

Tina is 68 now, but if Beyonce knows like we know, she'd better watch out. We still think the private dancer will shimmy the fringe off the young'n.
