The Pittsburgh Public Schools and Pittsburgh Federation of Teachers scheduled another negotiating session for Monday after bargaining for most of yesterday.
Union President John Tarka declined to say whether progress was made, and District Chief of Staff Lisa Fischetti said she hadn't received details from the district's negotiating team.
The PFT's nearly 3,500 teachers and other employees have been without contracts since June 30. Union members have authorized a strike at any time.
