The Pittsburgh Public Schools and Pittsburgh Federation of Teachers held another full day of talks today and scheduled another session for Monday.
Union President John Tarka declined to say whether progress was made, and District Chief of Staff Lisa Fischetti said she didn't have details.
The session, at the state mediator's office Downtown, began about 10 a.m. and concluded after 4 p.m. It was the third bargaining session this week.
The PFT represents about 3,500 teachers and other employees who have been without contracts since June 30. In October, union members authorized their leadership to call a strike at any time.
