Medrad opens Butler County plant

Medrad, Inc. today opened a manufacturing facility in Butler County that will produce disposable parts for its vascular injection systems.

Medrad provides medical devices that enable and enhance imaging of the body.

The 120,000-square-foot facility in Clinton Township is on the former site of U.S. Steel's Saxonburg sintering plant. It currently employs 70, although the company anticipates significant increases.
