Someone posted nearly the entire broadcast of the Winter Classic on YouTube. The video switches from the CBC broadcast to the NBC broadcast in the third period:

PREGAME

FIRST PERIOD

SECOND PERIOD

THIRD PERIOD

OVERTIME

SHOOTOUT

Who ever bothered to record that and post it on YouTube, we owe you a beer.

EMPTY NETTER ASSISTS

Penguins

-Can the Penguins earn points in 16 consecutive games again?

-Is Michel Therrien a hypocrite?

-We called for the start of "Conk-Lin! Conk-Lin!" chats following Ty Conklin's shutout of the Panthers Saturday. While discussing the issue with EN reader Mark Laser, the possibility of a "Conk! Conk!" chant was brought up. But as Mark pointed out, such a chant could sound a little too much like:

Atlantic Division

-Flyers forward Joffrey Lupul is out indefinitely with a concussion and a spinal cord contusion. He was injured when teammate Derian Hatcher ran him over. (You have no idea how much we want to gloat over this. But we're holding back since Lupul was injured.)

-The Rangers are trying sign goaltender Henrik Lundqvist to a long-term contract.

Southeast Division

-Marian Hossa had two goals for the Thrashers in a 5-2 win against the Sabres.

-Check out this end-to-end rush by Atlanta's Colin Stuart yesterday. Kukla's Korner has the video.

Central Division

-Jiri Hudler recorded two assists for the Red Wings in a 3-1 win at Chicago.

-The Blues activated defenseman Barrett Jackman from injured reserve, and sent defenseman Steve Wagner to Peoria of the AHL.

Pacific Division

-The Sharks have quite a dilemma; Do they keep the ice in good shape at HP Pavilion or do they keep things comfortable for their fans?
