A.J. Jackson scored 21 points and was among four players in double figures as Robert Morris won at Quinnipiac, 86-79, in Hamden, Conn., yesterday in the Northeast Conference.

The Colonials (10-5, 2-1) made five of their first seven 3-point attempts to take a 32-21 lead in the first half. Quinnipiac (6-8, 2-1) responded with a 10-0 run to close the gap to 32-31.

Robert Morris then scored five consecutive points. The Colonials carried a 42-39 lead into the intermission despite the Bobcats shooting 63 percent.

Robert Morris shot 54 percent for the game, including 11 of 18 from 3-point range.
