Ohio State has produced a DVD that has already been panned by its audience.
It might, however, just fire up the Buckeyes for their showdown Monday night in the national championship against LSU.
Coach Jim Tressel had the team's video coordinator put together a 10-minute video of clips from television and radio commentators belittling the Buckeyes this season, making fun of their cream-puff schedule and saying they don't belong in the BCS finale.
The Buckeyes have certainly taken note. The production values might be OK, but the theme didn't get two thumbs up.
"It was terrible. I had my grandma watch it with me and she started crying," offensive tackle Alex Boone said.
"I threw it away. You don't keep something like that around."
Asked if he was upset by the DVD, offensive lineman Kirk Barton said, "Would it make you mad if I made a DVD about people saying how bad your newspaper articles were?"

Ohio State tackle Alex Boone confirmed that he has filed the paperwork to receive an evaluation from NFL scouts. He said he will discuss the report and his draft prospects with his family soon after Monday night's game.
Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops considers his team's 48-28 loss to No. 11 West Virginia on Wednesday night "absolutely embarrassing" and called it "very disappointing to finish the season this way, and after such a solid year to come out and play as we did. Obviously, I need to do things differently as a head coach and the players, they need to have some discipline."
Leigh Steinberg, the agent for Hawaii coach June Jones, said he expected a decision on Jones' future to be made in a "fairly rapid time frame." Jones coached Hawaii to a 12-0 regular season before a blowout loss Tuesday in the Sugar Bowl. Jones' contract is set to expire in June and Steinberg said that Jones had not received a contract offer from Hawaii since the university extended his current contract five years ago.
Coach Butch Jones has agreed to a two-year contract extension, keeping him under contract for the next five seasons. Jones, a former West Virginia assistant, was a candidate for the Mountaineers' job that opened when Rich Rodriguez left to coach Michigan. West Virginia assistant Bill Stewart was awarded the West Virginia job yesterday.
Former Duke coach Ted Roof was hired as a Louisville football assistant, more than five weeks after he was fired by the Blue Devils. Roof will work with linebackers under Cardinals coach Steve Kragthorpe, who is shaking up his staff after a 6-6 season.
Defensive end Calais Campbell said that he's skipping his senior season and entering the NFL draft. Campbell is one of two Miami players to leave early so far: safety Kenny Phillips also won't be back for his final year of eligibility.
