PREDICTION: Patriots, 38-24
GAME: Steelers (10-5) at Baltimore Ravens (4-11), 4:15 p.m., Sunday
THE SKINNY: The Steelers have a chance to do the same thing Baltimore did to them last season --- beat the Ravens by a combined 58-7. It will be close.
PREDICTION: Steelers, 20-10
GAME: San Francisco 49ers (5-10) at Cleveland Browns (9-6), 1 p.m., Sunday
THE SKINNY: If the Browns miss the playoffs, they can blame offensive coordinator Rob Chudzinksi for throwing not once, but twice, at the end of the first half.
PREDICTION: Browns, 27-13
GAME: Cincinnati Bengals (6-9) at Miami Dolphins (1-15), 1 p.m., Sunday
THE SKINNY: This is the kind of season it has been for the Bengals: They haven't been able to win back-to-back games. Even against the Dolphins:
PREDICTION: Dolphins, 24-23
GAME: Seattle Seahawks (10-5) at Atlanta Falcons (3-12), 1 p.m., Sunday
THE SKINNY: In Atlanta, only the traffic is a bigger mess than the Falcons. The Seahawks have to come a long way to play a meaningless game.
PREDICTION: Seahawks, 20-13
GAME: New Orleans Saints (7-8) at Chicago Bears (6-9), 1 p.m., Sunday
THE SKINNY: And to think these two teams played in the NFC Championship game 11 months ago. Just as then, the Bears will win again.
PREDICTION: Bears, 23-20
GAME: Detroit Lions (7-8) at Green Bay Packers (12-3), 1 p.m., Sunday
THE SKINNY: The Packers can't improve or jeopardize their No. 2 playoff seed. But they don't want to go into the postseason with back-to-back losses.
PREDICTION: Packers, 30-21
GAME: Jacksonville Jaguars (11-4) at Houston Texans (7-8), 1 p.m., Sunday
THE SKINNY: The Jaguars can win on the road, they can win seven of their past eight, but they have trouble winning in their own division (2-3).
PREDICTION: Jaguars, 24-17
GAME: Tennessee Titans (9-6) at Indianapolis Colts (13-2), 1 p.m., Sunday
THE SKINNY: The Titans need a win to secure the wild card. But, hey, the Colts are accustomed to playing their reserves. They've been doing it all season.
PREDICTION: Colts, 23-21
GAME: Buffalo Bills (7-8) at Philadelphia Eagles (7-8), 1 p.m., Sunday
THE SKINNY: The Eagles have come to life, winning two in a row after three tough losses. The Bills have done the opposite, losing their past two starts.
PREDICTION: Eagles, 28-14
GAME: Carolina Panthers (6-9) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (9-6), 1 p.m., Sunday
THE SKINNY: The Buccaneers have won the NFC South by doing what the Steelers did --- going unbeaten in the division.
PREDICTION: Buccaneers, 30-12
GAME: Dallas Cowboys (13-2) at Washington Redskins (8-7), 1 p.m., Sunday
THE SKINNY: The Redskins have won three in a row and have a chance to give the NFC East three playoff teams. The Cowboys are unbeaten on the road.
PREDICTION: Redskins, 20-16
GAME: St. Louis Rams (3-12) at Arizona Cardinals (7-8), 4:15 p.m., Sunday
THE SKINNY: Arizona lost its playoff chance with a loss in New Orleans two weeks ago. They will finish their season with back-to-back wins against dome teams.
PREDICTION: Cardinals, 30-16
GAME: Minnesota Vikings (8-7) at Denver Broncos (6-9), 4:15 p.m., Sunday
THE SKINNY: Well, one thing's for certain: The Vikings will run Adrian Peterson and Chester Taylor against the Broncos. Everybody but the Steelers has done it.
PREDICTION: Vikings, 30-28
GAME: San Diego Chargers (10-5) at Oakland Raiders (4-11), 4:15 p.m., Sunday
THE SKINNY: The Chargers can secure the No. 3 playoff seed with a victory. That means they don't have to open the postseason with Jacksonville.
PREDICTION: Chargers, 34-14
GAME: Kansas City Chiefs (4-11) at New York Jets (3-12), 8:15 p.m., Sunday
THE SKINNY: Only the Ravens (9) have lost more games in a row than the Chiefs (8). Herman Edwards is just going to have to get over it.
