We reported earlier this month that former KDKA reporter/anchor John Cater landed a freelance gig in Atlanta and didn't end up returning to work for his father in Chicago as he'd initially planned.

On Saturday, the local BurghBoy blog linked to a Rosie O'Donnell blog post in which she gushes about meeting Cater at the hotel they were both staying in in Atlanta. Evidently Cater got an interview with her and then she recorded some of their encounter for her blog.
