UNIONDALE, N.Y. -- The Penguins have recalled forward Connor James from their farm team in Wilkes-Barre, and plan to use him when they face the New York Islanders tonight at Nassau Coliseum.
James, who has six goals and 10 assists in 25 games with the Baby Penguins, was brought up after it was determined that defenseman Sergei Gonchar would be unable to play against the Islanders because of a flu-like ailment.
The Penguins also will be without forward Erik Christensen, who has a strained neck.
