Friday, December 14, 2007

At 25 feet, river water begins spilling into a stretch of the inbound Parkway East between Wood Street and Commonwealth Place.

The Wharf parking lot, closer to the river, already has taken on water.

Flooding already has been reported in communities along the river.

The condition also is expected to cause a backup into the Youghiogheny River, a Mon tributary that enters the main stream at McKeesport.

Precipitation is expected, possibly as snow or rain, by tomorrow.

Check out the latest conditions and forecast.
