Kiefer Sutherland plays Jack Bauer on "24." But first he has to spend some time in jail.
A Canadian newspaper columnist has great fun with "24" star Kiefer Sutherland's recent incarceration. Read it and weep with laughter.

Television Critics Association January press tour has been canceled. It's the first time in its history that TCA has been canceled. It's a bummer because press tour offers access to network executives, producers, writers and stars that a TV critic simply can't get in Pittsburgh. I was TCA president until July and I'll admit I've been thanking my lucky stars that my term was up then and I didn't have to deal with this mess, but I'm also thankful because my successor, Dave Walker of the New Orleans Times-Picayune, did the best anyone possibly could do to try to keep the tour viable. It simply wasn't to be. Another former president, the smart, insightful David Bianculli, offers an excellent recounting of the value of the tour
here.
