At West Park on the North Side, Ruth Daniels found a winter wonderland awaiting her and a couple of canine snow lovers. She and the dogs -- Dominic and Linus -- enjoyed a game of fetch as the snow continued to fall.

She said West Park is a frequent stop for her throughout the seasons, but that the snow added a festive touch this particular morning.
