A pot-bellied pig named Jellybean had a taste of freedom last week on the South Side Slopes until she was captured by the city's animal rescue unit and taken to the Animal Rescue League of Western Pennsylvania.

According to the rescue league, Jellybean is small for her breed, very active, knows certain commands including "sit" and "come," and is highly affectionate toward people, especially those with food.

The league hopes to reunite Jellybean with her owners; if not, she'll be placed in a foster home while a permanent home is sought.
