Trick or treat hours for the city of Pittsburgh are from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. tomorrow.

To keep this Halloween safe, it's recommended that:

• An adult or older sibling supervises the outing for children under age 12.

• Children travel only in familiar areas and along an established route and stop only at houses or apartment buildings that are well-lit, and never to enter a stranger's home.

• Flashlights are carried, since falls are the leading cause of unintentional injuries on Halloween;

• Strips of reflective tape should be used to make children visible if they are out after dark.

• When in doubt about any treat, throw it out.
