In Class AAAA, AAA and A, four teams from each conference make the playoffs. In Class AA, the top three teams qualify from each of the five conferences, plus one wild-card fourth-place team.
The first- and second-place teams in AAAA, AAA and A play a home game in the first round of the playoffs. The first-place teams in the five AA conferences, plus three second-place teams will play home games in the first round.
