Justin Burda scored on runs of 1, 1, 2 and 3 yards last night to lead Chartiers Valley past Keystone Oaks, 50-29, in the Big Seven Conference.
Chartiers Valley (7-2, 5-1), No. 5 in the Post-Gazette's WPIAL Class AAA rankings, finished the regular season with its best record since 1981.
Keystone Oaks (3-6, 2-4) earned the No. 4 seed in the conference. The Golden Eagles tied with Peters Township and West Mifflin for fourth, but had a better point differential.
Burda also was 6 of 13 for 144 yards.

Pine-Richland 33, Hampton 14
The No. 3-ranked Rams (8-1, 5-1) rallied from a 21-7 third-quarter deficit to win a Greater Allegheny game at Hampton (2-7, 1-5). Ian Hennessy carried 20 times for 169 yards and scores of 7 and 92 yards for the Rams. Hampton's Dan O'Mara caught seven passes for 148 yards and two touchdowns. Pine-Richland tied Knoch for the conference title, but is seeded No. 2.
Trinity 38, Peters Township 18
The Hillers (6-3, 4-2) clinched third place in the Big Seven Conference with this win over visiting Peters Township (3-6, 2-4). Mike Yancich led the Hillers with 217 yards on 33 rushing attempts. Yancich scored on runs of 1, 9 and 12 yards. He also caught a 9-yard touchdown pass from Ian Haley.
Thomas Jefferson 41, West Mifflin 7
Zach DeCicco and Orlando Torres combined to rush for 260 yards and five touchdowns to lead top-ranked Thomas Jefferson to a convincing win over West Mifflin. The Jaguars (9-0, 6-0) finished undefeated in the Big Seven Conference for the fifth time in six years. DeCicco rushed for 149 yards and scored on runs of 1 and 56 yards. Torres rushed for 111 yards and scored on runs of 2, 6 and 31 yards.
Franklin Reg. 31, Greensburg Salem 7
The Panthers (5-4, 3-3) made the WPIAL playoffs as a No. 4 seed with a Greater Allegheny win over Greensburg Salem (2-7, 0-6). Anthony Vendemia completed 10 of 15 passes for 183 yards and connected with Jim Hart on a 33-yard touchdown for the Panthers, while teammate Seve Franceschetti rushed for 105 yards and scored on runs of 4 and 7 yards.
Montour 26, Hopewell 7
Christian Wilson rushed for 116 yards on 13 carries and scored on runs of 12 and 55 yards. No. 2 Montour (9-0, 6-0) captured its first conference title since 1995 with this Parkway road victory over Hopewell (4-5, 2-4). Edgar Banks completed 6 of 12 passes for 167 yards and one touchdown for the Spartans.
Blackhawk 35, Ambridge 0
Zach Hayward completed 10 of 15 passes for 109 yards and two touchdowns to lead Blackhawk (7-2, 5-1) to a Parkway Conference shutout of Ambridge (4-5, 1-5). Jake Delmonico capped the win with an 85-yard interception return for a score.
West Allegheny 27, Moon 7
Tyler Joyce rushed for 104 yards and scored on runs of 4 and 28 yards, as West Allegheny (5-4, 4-2) finished third in the Parkway Conference with this win over Moon (0-9, 0-6).
Belle Vernon 33, Ringgold 21
Jake Cramer scored on runs of 1 and 28 yards and hit Jon Krepps on a 17-yard touchdown pass to help Belle Vernon (5-4, 5-1) clinch the No. 2 seed in the Keystone Conference with a win against Ringgold (4-5, 4-2). Kramer rushed for 101 yards on five carries. Krepps also scored on a 28-yard run. Ringgold finished in third place.
Laurel Highlands 29, Uniontown 21
The Mustangs (3-6, 3-3) captured the Keystone's No. 4 seed with a win over Uniontown (2-7, 2-4). A.J. Jacobs rushed for 221 yards and scored on runs of 3, 3 and 10 yards for the Mustangs.
Mount Pleasant 48, Derry 7
The Vikings (7-2, 6-0) won the Keystone for the second straight year with a win over Derry (0-8, 0-6). Mike Sawlsville was 9 of 13 for 160 yards and two touchdowns and ran for a score for Mount Pleasant.
Indiana 69, Albert Gallatin 6
Andy DeGory and Jason Snyder each ran for two touchdowns to lead Indiana (6-3) to a convincing non-conference win over Albert Gallatin (1-8).
New Castle 49, Elizabeth Forward 21
Joey Perrotta ran for two touchdowns and five teammates scored one apiece as the Red Hurricane (6-3) toppled the visiting Warriors (0-9) in a non-conference game.
