In the Pittsburgh mayoral race, incumbent Democrat Luke Ravenstahl faces Republican challenger Mark DeSantis.

Mr. Ravenstahl, previously City Council president, became mayor in September 2006 after Mayor Bob O'Connor died from cancer. Mr. Ravenstahl, 27, of the North Side, previously worked as a sales representative for an overnight shipping firm. This multimedia presentation offers a biographical look at his background and experiences in the mayor's office.

The election is Nov. 6.
