The Allegheny County Health Department opens its flu clinic at 3441 Forbes Ave., Oakland, on Oct. 15. For ages 6 months and older at a cost of $25, free to those covered by Medicare Part B, and not in an HMO. Hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Wednesday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Open through fall and winter; closed Oct. 25.
