Before leaving, Ms. Marshall had given her 45 students hand-painted portraits of themselves as angels, "to capture their divinity." At her return, she gave them copies of a book, "Homewood's Healing Angels," that containes all of the portraits.

Some 70 children, parents and faculty came together to share a meal, music and to view a DVD documenting the "Homewood's Healing Angels" project, including responses to the book from Ms. Marshall's 4th-grade class in California.
