Hi-Tops sports bar on the North Side adjacent to PNC Park apparently has closed its doors.

The bar, at Federal and General Robinson streets, was not open for lunch today, and several workers inside said it had closed. An e-mail sent to the Post-Gazette said that Sunday would be the last night for Hi-Tops.

Inside the bar today, bottled beer still sat inside a large tub filled with water. A sign on an office door said there was a mandatory meeting for employees at 9 p.m. Sunday. "No excuses . . . Just be there on time," it read.

The bar's owner could not be reached for comment. Hi-Tops opened five years ago and has been a hangout for baseball and football crowds.
