Highlights from individual and team performances in district colleges last week:

Bethany set school records with 739 total yards and 482 rushing yards in a 66-7 victory against Saint Vincent. Milton Joyner, a senior from Westinghouse, passed for 214 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for 47 yards and two touchdowns. The 66 points and 59-point margin of victory were Bethany's highest since a 73-6 victory against D.C. Teachers College in 1969.

Duquesne's Brendan Madden, a junior from Thomas Jefferson, set a tournament record with a 3-under 213 to win the Longwood championship. He had rounds of 69-70-74.

California's 57-0 victory against Cheyney was the largest margin of victory in a shutout since a 65-0 win against Bethany in 1949.

Edinboro's Trevor Harris completed a school-record 29 passes on 42 attempts for 329 yards and 4 touchdowns in a 42-41 victory against Bloomsburg.

Washington & Jefferson's Bobby Swallow tied a school record with six touchdown passes in a 50-14 victory against Hanover.
