Penn-Trafford graduate Andrew Saporito has three goals and one assist for the Westminster College men's soccer team.

Saporito, a 5-foot-10 junior forward, is a three-year starter and four-year letter-winner for the Titans, who are off to a 3-2-1 start.

Saporito earned second-team All-Presidents' Athletic Conference honors last season after being an honorable mention selection in 2005.

Last season, Saporito led Westminster with 12 goals, 11 assists, 35 points, and two game-winning goals. For his career, Saporito has scored 21 goals and assisted on 18 others for 60 total points.

First touchdown

Franklin Regional graduate Chris Molnar scored a touchdown on his first collegiate reception in Robert Morris University's 28-14 win over Saint Francis (Pa.).

Molnar, a sophomore backup tight end, caught a 2-yard touchdown pass from Colonials quarterback Erik Cwalinski with 14 seconds left in the first half.

Two other graduates of PG East area high schools, Plum's Alvin Hill and Norwin's Regis Flowers, are also starters for the Colonials.

Hill, a 6-0, 180-pound senior split end, has nine catches for 102 yards in three games. He had four catches for 58 yards in Saturday's game against Saint Francis.

Flowers, a 6-1, 205-pound junior tight end, has seven catches for 83 yards. He had one catch for 9 yards Saturday.

Not bad for starters

East Allegheny High School graduate Adam Eichler tied for the team lead with nine total tackles in Grove City's 17-13 season-opening loss to Dickinson.

Eichler, a 6-0, 215-pound junior linebacker at Grove City, had five solo tackles and four assists.
