The Pittsburgh branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People is sponsoring a Health and Fun Day from noon to 6 p.m. Aug. 25 in Mellon Park, Fifth and Penn avenues. The Pittsburgh Business Group on Health is sponsoring a symposium, "Shaping the Future: Innovative Solutions for Today's Health Care Challenges," from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 6 at the City Center Marriott, 112 Washington Place, Uptown. The Pittsburgh Mercy Health System, in conjunction with the Emergency Medicine Association of Pittsburgh, is presenting an Emergency Nursing Current Concepts seminar from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 10 at the Radisson Hotel, 101 Radisson Drive, Green Tree. The Western Pennsylvania Foundation is sponsoring a golf classic on Sept. 17 at the Pittsburgh Field Club, 121 Field Club Road, Fox Chapel.
