INTERSTATES
I-79, Bridgeville -- Work continues on the on-ramp from Route 50 to northbound Interstate 79 (Exit 54). Ramp will remain open, with restrictions. Project to be completed this August 2008.

I-376, Parkway East -- Outbound lanes and four ramps between Bates Street and the Swissvale-Edgewood interchanges closed until no later than 6 a.m. tomorrow.

STATE HIGHWAYS
Route 19/Perry Highway, Marshall -- Single-lane closures from Butler County line to the southbound I-79 on-ramp, 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., through late October. Weekend work possible.

Route 88/Library Road, Castle Shannon and Pittsburgh -- Road improvements resume between McNeilly Avenue and Sixth/Killarney streets. No traffic restrictions at this time. Crews constructing a temporary roadway that will eventually carry traffic during road construction. Completion May 2008.

Route 837, Duquesne -- Northbound lanes that carry traffic under the Duquesne-McKeesport Bridge to Duquesne will close from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily beginning tomorrow through Sept. 7. The bridge will remain open to traffic. Detours posted. Local residents should find alternate routes.

OTHER ROADS
Mount Royal Boulevard/Grant Street/Cresent Street, Shaler and Etna -- Closed from Kittanning Street in Etna to Kleber Road in Shaler beginning tomorrow, weather permitting, through early September. Traffic will be reduced to single lane alternating use from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily. No night work. Flag crews will direct traffic.

Whitehall Road, Brentwood -- Closed to through traffic between Hilpert Street and Brownsville Road through the end of August for reconstruction. Detours posted.

Brinton Road, North Braddock and East Pittsburgh -- Traffic reduced to a single lane from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday through late August. One mile of improvements scheduled, from the intersection of Center Avenue and Main Street to the intersection of Brinton Road and Pallas Street.

Fourth Avenue, Jeannette -- Surface improvements between Chambers Avenue and Clay Avenue continue through Friday. Single-lane traffic with limited access to and from Bullitt Avenue and alleyways. Limited turns from Chambers Avenue; no parking along Fourth Avenue.

Locust Street/Roosevelt Road, Emsworth, Ohio Township and Kilbuck -- Crews upgrading drainage and shoulders and milling and resurfacing 3.8 miles between Route 65/Ohio River Boulevard and Route 4022/Mount Nebo Road. Traffic reduced to a single-lane, 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. through late October.

Stanwix Street -- Closed between Fort Duquesne Boulevard and Penn Avenue, Downtown, for tunnel-boring work on the North Shore Connector. Detour posted.

Mount Nebo Road, Ohio Township -- Closed between Arndt and Lowries Run roads through September. Access for residents and businesses is Lowries Run Road onto Mount Nebo Road. Detours posted.

Boulevard of Allies, Oakland -- New "gateway interchange" project under way where boulevard meets Forbes and Fifth avenues. Ophelia Street, at the intersection with Forbes Avenue, closed. Lawn Street will remain open. Single right lane closure on northbound Boulevard of the Allies through November.

MAJOR BRIDGES
Route 286/Saltsburg Road, Bell Township, Westmoreland County -- Bridge over Beaver Run Reservoir is closed through late November for repairs. Detours posted.

Donora Monessen Bridge, Washington County -- Routine inspection through Friday. Lane and shoulder closures.

31st Street Bridge, Pittsburgh -- Closed. Fall completion.

PORT AUTHORITY
Pioneer Avenue, Brookline -- The right-hand turn lane between Cadet Avenue and West Liberty Avenue is closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays and 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. weekends for a month while crews repair piers of the West Liberty Avenue Bridge. Bus routes 41D Brookline and 41G Dormont-Rolling Hills should expect delays.

Palm Garden Bridge, Mount Washington -- Painting will result in off-peak, overnight and weekend single-lane closures of portions of West Liberty Avenue, Route 51 and Boggs Avenue for about two months.
