(NBC): Three high-powered New York friends (Kim Raver, Brooke
Shields, Lindsay Price) stick together in this series based on the
Candace Bushnell novel. (Premieres at midseason.)
"In Plain Sight" (USA
Network): A U.S. marshal (Mary McCormack) relocates federal
witnesses while dealing with her dysfunctional family.

"The Return of
Jezebel James" (Fox): A career woman (Parker Posey), who is unable
to conceive, asks her sister (Lauren Ambrose) to carry a child to
term for her. (Premieres at midseason.)
"The Sarah Connor
Chronicles" (Fox): Lena Headey steps into the role created by Linda
Hamilton, protecting son John (Thomas Dekker) from murderous robots
of the future. (Premieres at midseason.)
"Samantha Who?"
(ABC): When a woman (Christina Applegate) suffers an injury that
gives her amnesia, she comically comes to discover her old self was
not a very nice person. (Premieres 9:30 p.m. Oct. 15.)
"Women's Murder Club"
(ABC): Based on the James Patterson novels, a San Francisco
homicide inspector (Angie Harmon), medical examiner (Paula
Newsome), assistant district attorney (Laura Harris) and crime
reporter (Aubrey Dollar) pool their knowledge of murder cases to
solve the crime. (Premieres 9 p.m. Oct. 12.)
