In 1984, Dr. Bruce Dixon purchased the Charles Schwab mansion, an 1890s Richardsonian Romanesque home in North Braddock. He has been working to restore it ever since.

Dr. Dixon's maternal grandparents, Frank and Nellie Redman, were prominent residents of Braddock and friends of Charles Schwab, who was president of Carnegie Steel Corp., which became U.S. Steel.

Over the last 24 years, Dr. Dixon has slowly revived the mansion's splendor, drawing on a passion for Victorian antiques and a taste for vivid Bradbury & Bradbury wallpapers.

This multimedia presentation offers a virtual tour inside the house and a look at Dr. Dixon's efforts so far.
