Last night the 2007 Mid-Atlantic Emmy nominations were announced locally at a party at Lidia's in the Strip District. Many WQED employees were there, including "On Q" reporter Tonia Caruso, with a few from other stations, including John Cater and Dave Crawley of KDKA and Kimberly Easton of WPXI.

As noted in today's PG, WTAE did not enter this year after a January exchange of letters between Channel 4 news director Bob Longo and the Emmy folks. You can read their dueling letters here.
