Fans finally got a glimpse of the Steelers during Wednesday afternoon's practice -- Tuesday's was moved indoors due to inclement weather -- while Mike Tomlin took a hard look at his special teams units and passing formations.

Dressed head-to-toe in black, Tomlin might resemble Johnny Cash, or better yet, one of the monks on the campus of Saint Vincent.
But what would the Benedictine brothers say about a three tight-end set? The Steelers offense tinkered with that and several other formations in a possible precursor of a new wide-open offense to come.
