Steelers move practice indoors
Tuesday, July 24, 2007

Mike Tomlin moved the Steelers' first afternoon training camp practice indoors when a thunderstorm rolled into the Latrobe area just before the scheduled start.

The move disappointed hundreds of fans who turned out to watch the new coach's first practice open to the public at Saint Vincent College.

The Steelers, scheduled to start practice at 2:55 p.m., started at 3:30 p.m. indoors, which was closed to fans.

The next practice open to the public will take place Wednesday at 2:55 p.m.

More details in tomorrow's Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
