The Good, the Bad and the Beautiful
Gisele's not happy, Tyler's not gay and Kelly Rowland's recovering
Tuesday, July 17, 2007
There seems to be some baby momma drama going on in the long-legged world of supermodel Gisele Bundchen and her quarterback boyfriend, Tom Brady.

You know, his ex-girlfriend, actress Bridget Moynahan, is due to give birth on Friday, which happens to be Gisele's birthday, according to Page Six.

That expected event is reportedly causing such a lot of tension between Ms. Victoria's Secret and Mr. Super Bowl, so that the two were fighting in public recently.

Gisele, girl, you knew his ex was pregnant with his child, so no need of getting upset now; it's not going to get any easier once the baby comes.

Tyler Perry, a 6-foot-6 version of the Energizer Bunny, has more irons in the fire than a hair salon.

The playwright/producer/director graces the cover of Essence Magazine's August issue.

He's directing a sitcom, "House of Payne"; is directing and starring in a new movie with Janet Jackson; overseeing production of another sitcom, "Meet the Browns"; and supervising the completion of a new 70,000-square-foot studio.

We're tired just reading all that.

Anyway, Tyler, who went from homeless to rich and famous via his tough-talking grandma character Madea, addresses the rumors that he's gay:

"It used to bother me a whole lot in the beginning -- it really, really did," he tells Essence. "But what it's done is give me a firm seating in my manhood. And if some people can't separate the character from the man that I am, then that's their issue, not mine."

Guess he told somebody!

We hope former DC Kelly Rowland is back on the mend in the United States after collapsing during a performance last weekend in Nigeria during the ThisDay Music Festival.

Seems Ms. Kelly was a bit dehydrated. Apparently, performing solo ain't as easy as Beyonce makes it look.

Janet Jackson, Miss Taut Abs herself (although she looks like she's been hitting the Haagen-Dazs again lately), has just signed with L.A. Reid's Island Urban label.

That's really not a surprise since her man, Jermaine Dupri, is president there.

But JD says that he will be keeping a hands-off approach on JJ's next album. Seems L.A. will be the one overseeing that one.

Miss Jackson hasn't had much luck recently on the music front. Her last two albums, "20 Y.O." and "Damita Jo," did not reach the level of her previous successes.

Maybe a change will do her good.

We've got a word of advice for y'all.

If you were ever thinking of inviting comedians Andy Dick and Jon Lovitz to your party -- DON'T DO IT!

Seems Mr. Lovitz has no love at all for Mr. Dick and actually body-slammed him last week at an L.A. comedy club, reports Page Six.

Jon said he wanted Andy to apologize for a really tacky and tasteless remark he'd made last year, but instead of saying I'm sorry, Andy said something else stupid, then asked Jon to be in his new movie.

That's when the portly comedian and Subway sandwich pitchman lost it.

"I grabbed him by the shirt and leaned him over and said, 'I don't want to be in your movie! I don't want to be in your life!' I pushed him against the rail," Jon said.

Apparently, there's been bad blood between the two ever since the death of Jon's "Saturday Night Live" buddy Phil Hartman.

It's reported that Jon blamed Andy for getting Phil's wife, Brynn, back on cocaine by allegedly giving her some at a party she and Phil hosted.

Five months later, she killed her husband and herself.

We're still not right over that one!

Guess we'll get to see up close how Snoop Dogg keeps his mind on his money and his money on his mind.

E! just announced that the D-O-Double G is the subject of a half-hour reality series on its channel set to debut late 2007.

We'll get to see him interact with his wife and kids and walk women on leashes.

Wait a minute. Strike that last one. He's already checked that off his "to do" list.

If we're lucky, we'll get a Bishop Magic Don Juan spinoff out of this!
