A look at the weekend schedule for the major professional golf tours:

PGA Tour

Event: John Deere Classic.

Where: TPC Deere Run, 7,255 yards, par 70, Silvis, Ill.

When: Today-Sunday.

Purse: $4.1 million.

Winner's share: $738,000.

TV: 3-6 p.m. today-tomorrow, Golf Channel; 3-6 p.m. Saturday-Sunday, KDKA.

Last year: Australia's John Senden won his first PGA Tour title.

Last week: South Korea's K.J. Choi won the Tiger Woods-hosted AT&T National at Congressional for his second victory of the year.

Notes: Michelle Wie withdrew June 19. ... Masters champion Zach Johnson, from neighboring Iowa, is the only player in the top 45 in the world ranking in the field. He is 15th. ... The British Open is next week at Carnoustie, opposite the U.S. Bank Championship in Milwaukee. ... The highest top-10 finisher not otherwise exempt for the British Open will earn a spot at Carnoustie. ... The tournament is in its eighth year at Deere Run after 25 seasons at Oakwood in Coal Valley. Three-time winner D.A. Weibring teamed with Chris Gray to design Deere Run. ... J.P. Hayes won in 2002, shooting a course-record 61 in the second round and finishing at 22-under 262 -- the lowest score in relation to par in tournament history.

LPGA Tour

Event: Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic.

Where: Highland Meadows Golf Club, 6,428 yards, par 71. Sylvania, Ohio.

When: Today-Sunday.

Purse: $1.3 million.

Winner's share: $195,000.

TV: 3-5 p.m. tomorrow-Sunday, ESPN2.

Last year: South Korea's Mi Hyun Kim won the second of her two 2006 titles, beating Natalie Gulbis with an 18-foot birdie putt on the third hole of a playoff.

Last event: Cristie Kerr won the U.S. Women's Open at Pine Needles July 1 for her first major title and 10th LPGA Tour victory.

Notes: The top five LPGA Tour members after 36 holes not already in the Women's British Open will earn spots in the Aug. 2-5 tournament at St. Andrews. Players must register for the qualifier to be eligible. ... Kerr is in the field. ... Se Ri Pak won in 1998-99, 2001 and 2003. She finished fourth last year. ... The HSBC Women's World Match Play Championship is next week at Wykagyl in New Rochelle, N.Y., followed by the Evian Masters in France.

Champions Tour

Event: Dick's Sporting Goods Open.

Where: En-Joie Golf Course, 6,974 yards, par 72, Endicott, N.Y.

When: Tomorrow-Sunday.

Purse: $1.6 million.

Winner's share: $240,000.

TV: 1-3 p.m. tomorrow, Golf Channel; 1-4 p.m. Saturday-Sunday, Golf Channel.

Last year: Inaugural event.

Last week: Brad Bryant won the U.S. Senior Open at Whistling Straits for his first senior major title, closing with a 4-under 68 in windy conditions for a three-stroke victory over Ben Crenshaw.

Notes: En-Joie was the site of the PGA Tour's now-defunct B.C. Open from 1971-2005. Craig Stadler, in the field this week, won the 2003 B.C. Open to become the first player to win a PGA Tour event while a member of the Champions Tour. He closed with a 63 to overcome an eight-stroke deficit and win by a stroke. ... The tour will pick back up July 26-29 for the Senior British Open at Muirfield.
