Rawson heads critics association

Pittsburgh Post-Gazette theater editor and critic Christopher Rawson has been elected chair of the American Theatre Critics Association, the first to have held the post twice.

The American section of the International Association of Theatre Critics, ATCA is 33 years old. It runs twice-yearly national conferences and occasional seminars, administers and votes on such national awards as the Steinberg/ATCA Prize, one of the richest new play competitions, and through its Foundation supports the arts of theater and criticism; for more, go to www.americantheatrecritics.org.
