A 19-year-old woman was killed Sunday in Penn Township when the car she was driving rolled over after leaving the road.

Sarah L. Budd, of Quarter Horse Drive in North Huntingdon, died at Mercy Hospital Sunday from a head wound she suffered after losing control of her car around 12:30 p.m. on Penn Woods Drive in Penn Township.

Penn Township police said the car failed to negotiate a left hand curve before crossing two lanes of traffic and flipping over an embankment. Police found Ms. Budd sprawled on the ground being helped by a passing motorist.

She was flown later to Mercy Hospital.
