ART
Sewickley -- Sweetwater Center for the Arts, 200 Broad St., will open an exhibit of photography, sculpture and painting by Paula Weiner and Chhime Dorji with a reception from 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow. The display continues until July 13. Admission is free. A portion of sale proceeds will benefit the Thimpu Dog Shelter in Bhutan.
FESTIVALS
Bridgeville -- Community Day will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday in Triangle Park, Station Street, and on Washington Avenue. There will be a classic car cruise, food, a disc jockey, bands, performances, puppets, a magician, children's activities and other events. Fireworks will be at dusk.
Crafton -- St. Philip Parish, West Crafton Avenue, will hold a festival from 5:30 to 10:30 p.m. today through Saturday in the courtyard. There will be children's games, food booths, nightly entertainment, a flea market, ticket auction and more. Dinners, $7 each, will be served daily in the cafeteria from 5 to 7 p.m.
FUND-RAISERS
Franklin Springs -- Greater Pittsburgh Football Officials Association will have its annual Harry Quinn-Ralph Schorr Memorial Golf Classic June 24 at Ponderosa Golf Course. A $90 donation includes breakfast, a goodie bag, golf with cart, refreshments on the course and a buffet dinner. Breakfast begins at 9 a.m., tee-off at 10. Patterson -- Community College of Beaver County will hold its annual golf outing to benefit the CCBC Foundation at 9 a.m. June 22 at Beaver Valley Golf Club. Moon -- A free Father's Day Fun Fair will be from noon to 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Moon Park. Activities for kids and dads will include a ladder climb, crawl maze, airbrush tattoos and more. Food also will be free.
Robinson -- Family luncheon from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Jabby Joe's Restaurant, 6080 Steubenville Pike, will benefit the Marion Resource Center, a Coraopolis nonprofit Catholic book and gift shop. Carnegie -- Musician and singer Ellen Gozion will present "Across the Blue Mountain," an evening of traditional American music, at 8 p.m. next Thursday in Andrew Carnegie Music Hall, 300 Beechwood Ave. She will be accompanied by Donna Isaac on fiddle and Kathy Fallon on guitar and banjo. Crafton -- A blessing of the animals service will be from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday on the grounds of Crafton United Presbyterian Church, 80 Bradford Ave. Participants may stop at any time during those hours.
