A man was found walking along a road yesterday with a knife protruding from his chest.

State police said Clayton Howard Gardner, 56, was walking next to Route 8 in Venango County with a "knife imbedded in his chest." He was treated at Titusville Area Hospital.

Police don't know where, when or how he was stabbed but are investigating the case as an aggravated assault.
