Three athletes who attended PG West-area high schools have been selected to the all-Presidents' Athletic Conference baseball team.
Langley High School Eric Wadowsky, a junior at Thiel College who was voted to the first team, set a school record for victories (8-3) and compiled a 2.08 ERA in 12 starts.
Wadowsky will enter his senior season at Thiel with a career won-loss record of 16-7 and a 3.14 ERA.
Chartiers Valley alumnus John Astfalk, a senior pitcher at Washington & Jefferson College, was also voted to the first team after being a second-team choice last year. He had a 7-1 record and a 2.03 ERA.
Sto-Rox graduate Eric Boylan, a sophomore outfielder at Thiel, was voted to the second team. Boyland hit .311 and had three home runs, 29 RBIs and nine stolen bases.
Montour grad earns all-PAC
Montour High School graduate Kristin Zyskowski has been honored by Presidents' Athletic Conference for her outstanding performance on the softball field.
Zyskowski, a senior at Westminster College, was voted to the all-PAC second team. She had a .344 batting average with 27 runs scored and 15 RBIs.
Zyskowski had two teammates also on the first team, including Laurel High grad Jennifer Emery of New Castle.
