Event: Senior PGA Championship.

When: Today-Sunday.

Purse: TBA ($2 million in 2006).

Winner's share: TBA ($360,000 in 2006).

TV: 1-3 p.m. today-tomorrow, USA; 3-6 p.m. Saturday-Sunday, WPXI.

Last year: Jay Haas won the major championship for his third consecutive Champions Tour victory.

Last week: Brad Bryant successfully defended his Regions Charity Classic title, beating R.W. Eaks with a birdie on the third hole of a playoff.

Notes: Created at Bobby Jones' suggestion, the event was first played in 1937 at Augusta National. ... Haas has two victories this year and leads the money list with $1,136,058. ... The 1991 Ryder Cup was played on the Pete Dye-designed Ocean Course, also the site of the 2012 PGA Championship.
