Friday: Installation of art at 800 Penn Ave. storefront gallery, Downtown, created by students this week in workshops at Manchester Craftsmen's Guild with Therman Statom, the May artist-in-residence for Pittsburgh Celebrates Glass!
Saturday, 10 a.m.: Weekly glassblowing demonstration and tour, Pittsburgh Glass Center. Admission: $10, $5 children; 412-365-2145.
Sunday, 1:30-2:30 p.m.: Gallery Talk by Davide Salvadore and Kathleen Mulcahy in "Viva Vetro! Glass Alive! Venice and America" exhibition at Carnegie Museum of Art. They'll talk about their own work and that of other exhibiting artists. Salvadore is a native of Venice who began working in the prestigious Murano glass factories at an early age with his father.
