A mother's story of rescue, survival and hope

In February, 22-year-old Crystal Hauser awoke to find the ceiling of her family's trailer home ablaze. Crystal got herself -- nearly seven months pregnant -- and her 3-year-old son J.J. out of the fire, but mother and son both had severe burns.

Crystal Hauser and her family have shared their experiences of rescue, healing and homecoming with Post-Gazette photographer Steve Mellon and reporter Anita Srikameswaran for this special Mother's Day report.
