'The Ex'

Rated: PG-13.

Suitable for: Teens and older.

What you should know: Zach Braff and Amanda Peet play new parents who move from New York to her Ohio hometown to start over when he is fired from his job as a chef and she decides to stay home with their newborn rather than return to work as a lawyer.

Language: One f-word and about a dozen other milder four-letter curses.

Sexual situations and nudity: There are jokes about genitals, childbirth, sexual prowess and gay porn.

Violence/scary situations: A food fight and physical tussle erupt. Accidents with a snowboard, bicycle, wheelchairs and stairs are played for laughs. After-effects of a fire are shown.

Drug or alcohol reference: Adults drink beer, wine or other alcohol.
