West Allegheny graduate Will Mills was a double winner at the Presidents' Athletic Conference track and field championships April 28 at Grove City College.

Mills, a junior at Thiel College, won the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.47, then finished second in the 400-meter dash with a time of 49.59. He was also a member of the 400-meter relay team, which captured the title with a time of 42.77.

Allegheny medal winners

Two Allegheny College athletes who are graduates of PG West-area high schools helped the Gators win their fifth consecutive North Coast Athletic Conference men's title.

Chartiers Valley graduate Ryan Hanson placed sixth in the 1,500-meter run with a personal-best time of 4:02.45.

Moon Area graduate Matt Hoy finished seventh in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 15:45.67.
