'In the Land of Women'

Rated: PG-13.

Suitable for: Mature teens and their parents.

What you should know: After his girlfriend dumps him, brokenhearted writer Adam Brody ("The O.C.") runs away to ailing grandma Olympia Dukakis' house in Michigan, where he becomes enmeshed in the lives of neighbors Meg Ryan (the troubled mom), Kristen Stewart (sullen teen) and Makenzie Vega (precocious preteen).

Language: Fairly infrequent use of profanity.

Sexual situations and nudity: Two brief, tasteful kissing scenes. There is no nudity.

Violence/scary situations: There is a serious discussion of breast cancer and a fistfight during a party scene.

Drug or alcohol use: Beer and booze are consumed by drunken revelers at the party.
