The Good, the Bad and the Beautiful
Alec's rage, Sanjaya's new stage, and Chris Rock wants to know
Thursday, April 19, 2007
Well folks, there's lot of celebrity stuff jumping off today.

We don't know if our computer can handle it, but we're gonna try to get it all in.

You know we always suggest that people slow it down every once in a while and just relax, take time for themselves, spend a little quiet time with the fam.

But these famous folks don't listen. So, you know, they can't say we didn't try to help them.

Alec Baldwin, who's known for his nasty temper, unleashed his fury on his 11-year-old daughter when she wasn't there to take his phone call. And now his visitation rights have been temporarily suspended.

TMZ.com has the audio of Poppa Baldwin just cussing out little Ireland, whom he calls "a thoughtless little pig."

Now, there's no excuse for this at all.

Alec and ex-wife Kim Basinger have been fighting like cats and dogs over their daughter for several years. A hearing is set for May 4 and AB could lose visitation altogether.

We don't know how TMZ got the audio, but it scared us, and we're nowhere near 11.

Well, it was finally bye bye-a for "American Idol" contestant Sanjaya Wednesday night and hello Jay Leno tonight.

The boy with the big smile is scheduled to chat with the man with the big chin on "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno."

Y'all knew it was just a matter of time before he got the boot from "AI."

Yes, he was follicly gifted with all those hairstyles and whatnot. But the boy couldn't sing.

Folks who could sing were actually sacrificed so we could see how many ways little Sanjaya could wear his hair.

Still, Randy Jackson and members of the band walked over to shake Mr. Malakar's hand afterward and wish him well, according to People.

Fret not, Fanjayas, your boy will land on his feet, probably with a shampoo commercial or his own chain of hair salons.

Chris Rock wants a Georgia court to determine if he's the father of a 13-year-old boy so he can do the right thing.

The boy's mother, Kali Bowyer, who lives in Bullock County, Ga., tried to file a paternity suit against Chris last month, but the court said Mr. Rock lives in New York, and she needs to file there.

Anyway, the woman wants child support and medical coverage for her son.

Chris has been married to his wife, Malaak, for 10 years and has two little girls with her.

While we're on the subject of child support and whatnot, we'll let you know that 50 Cent, a k a Two Quarters or Mr. Five Dimes, has been ordered to immediately pay $10,000 to the mother of his 10-year-old son and $15,000 in monthly support payments.

Seems old Fitty wasn't trying to handle his business when it came to the child, so ex-girlfriend Shaniqua Tompkins had to take him to court instead of the candy shop.

Rosie O'Donnell/Donald Trump.

These two crazy kids just need to confess their love for each other and get it over with. Why else would they feel the need to constantly talk about each other?

If we don't like you we're sure not gonna waste our precious energy talking about you all the time.

Seems Ro tried to bring up Donald again on "The View" yesterday after he sent Barbara Walters that dominatrix costume Rosie wore in the film "Exit to Eden."

Apparently, Mr. Trump got the outfit from a fan and re-gifted it to BW. But when Ms. O'Donnell brought it up on the show by asking, "Do you want to hear what a 61-year-old businessman did today?," Barbara shut her down.

She told Page Six, "I have no desire to continue a feud with Donald Trump."

Now that she's escaped ... um, we mean, now that she's in Louisiana making a film, Katie Holmes is reportedly reaching out to her old friends, according to MSNBC.com.

Seems Katie had kicked a lot of her homegirls and guys to the curb after her upgrade relationship with Tom Cruise.

But now that she's not under the watchful eye of her hubby, word is she's made plans to visit her family in Ohio and is said to be trying to reconnect with her Catholic faith.

Soccer star David Beckham obviously knows that if the wife/momma is happy, everybody's happy.

David spent about $80,000 U.S. to put a smile on wife Victoria Beckham's face for her 33rd birthday.

He whisked her away on a private plane at a cost of $50,000 for an overnight jaunt to Paris, complete with a suitcase full of new outfits, reports London's Mirror newspaper. If that wasn't enough, he bought her a few more things in Paree, taking her to the Christian Louboutin showroom for a pair of $3,000 shoes and the studio of Azzedine Alaia for a custom-made $14,000 dress.

Then it was off to the $12,000-a-night suite at the Paris Ritz.

Let them other women go for the b-ballers and football players, we're gonna get us a soccer man.

Congratulations to Gladys Knight, a true R&B legend, who has been chosen to receive the 16th annual ELLA Award from the Society of Singers in Los Angeles.

You know we saw Miss Gladys last year in Pittsburgh. None of these newbies -- Ciara, Tiara, whoever -- got anything on Ms. Knight.

She just needs to put them all in a classroom and just school them on what real singing is.

Anyway, the seven-time Grammy winner joins the ranks of past winners Johnny Mathis, Celine Dion, Elton John and Frank Sinatra.
