Langley graduate Eric Wadowsky was named Presidents' Athletic Conference baseball pitcher of the week.

Wadowsky, who plays for Thiel College, earned his third win of the season in a 14-3 victory against Saint Vincent College on April 4, as he allowed no earned runs (two unearned) on three hits with two strikeouts in six innings of work.

Wadowsky, 3-2 on the season, is second in the conference in innings pitched (37.0), tied for third in wins (3) and sixth in ERA (2.68). Thiel has a 14-7 record.

Langley grad 5-0 at Wooster

Langley graduate Matt Barnes has a 5-0 record for the Wooster College baseball team, which has a perfect 23-0 record. Barnes has pitched 28.3 innings, allowing only 11 runs, and striking out 43, for a 2.54 earned run average.

Beaver Falls graduate Andy Hiskey is batting .315 for the Geneva College baseball team. Hiskey, a junior third baseman, has started 18 games. He has 8 runs scored and 17 runs batted it.

Greater Latrobe graduate Meghan McHenry was named Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Western Division Women's Softball Player of the Week.

McHenry, a junior outfielder at Slippery Rock University, earned the honor by batting .600 (3 for 5) with a double, solo home run, five RBis and two runs scored in SRU's 7-2, 5-0 doubleheader sweep of Seton Hill last Wednesday. McHenry, a second-team All-PSAC-West performer a year ago, is hitting .270 with six doubles, two home runs and 10 RBIs this spring.

As a team, The Rock owns a 14-12 overall record and a 1-3 PSAC-West.

Franklin Regional graduate Matt Hanley and Burrell grad Dan Mangini are both starters on the Pitt-Johnstown baseball team.

Hanley, a sophomore outfielder, has started in all 25 games and is batting .360. He has 18 runs scored, 27 runs batted in, and our home runs thus far.

Mangini, a freshman infielder-outfielder, has played in 21 games, starting 17, and is batting .339. He has scored 10 runs and driven in six. Mangini has struck out only 3 times in 62 at bats.
